Onderhoud specificaties in SpecsPlaza eenvoudiger: beëindiging verplicht reactiveren

Tot nu toe moet u uw specificaties iedere zes maanden opnieuw activeren, ook als deze ongewijzigd zijn. We noemen dit proces het reactiveren van de specificaties. Om het u makkelijker te maken komt met ingang van 21 juni 2010 dit proces te vervallen.
Vanaf 21 juni 2010 hoeft u dus niet langer om de zes maanden uw specificaties te reactiveren. In de nieuwe situatie blijven de specificaties gewoon actief tot aan de door u in het systeem ingebrachte einddatum. Vult u het veld einddatum niet in dan blijft de specificatie oneindig geldig. Vanzelfsprekend moet u bij een inhoudelijke wijziging steeds de specificatie aanpassen.

Let op!
Het kan voorkomen dat een aantal van uw specificaties op dit moment niet actief is omdat de termijn van 6 maanden is verlopen en u de specificaties daarna niet heeft gereactiveerd. Is bij deze specificaties geen einddatum, of een einddatum die ligt in de toekomst, ingevuld dan zouden deze specificaties na de aanpassing van het systeem op 21 juni a.s. weer actief worden. Omdat we ons kunnen voorstellen dat dit niet de bedoeling is, zal SpecsPlaza deze specificaties kort voor 21 juni a.s. (eenmalig) de archiefstatus geven. Dit betekent dat de specificaties dan niet langer zichtbaar en raadpleegbaar zijn voor uw afnemers. U kunt de specificaties naar keuze wel weer uit het archief halen en actief maken. Dit gebeurt als volgt:

1. na inloggen in SpecsPlaza kiest u in de menuopties voor “Producten archief”. U komt in het overzicht “productspecificaties archief”
2. bij de specificatie die u wilt terughalen klikt u op: “Terughalen uit archief”.

Maintenance of specifications simplified in SpecsPlaza: ending of mandatory reactivation

Up until now you had to activate your specifications again every six months even if they had not been changed. We call this process the reactivation of the specifications. In order to make things easier for you this process will be ended with effect from 21 June 2010.
From 21 June 2010, you will therefore no longer need to reactivate your specifications every six months. In the new situation the specifications just continue to be active until the end date which you entered in the system. If you do not enter anything into the end date field then the specification will remain valid indefinitely. You will of course have to continue to modify the specification if there is a change to its content.

Note!
It may be the case that a number of your specifications are currently not active because the period of 6 months had passed and you did not reactivate them. If these specifications do not have an end date or if the end date is in the future then these specifications should be active again after the change to the system on 21 June. As we can imagine that this might not be what you intended, SpecsPlaza will give these specifications a one-time archive status shortly before 21 June. This means that the specifications are no longer visible to your clients and can not be consulted by them. You can choose to take the specifications out of the archive and make them active. This is done as follows:

1. After logging in to SpecsPlaza you select “Products Archive” from the menu options. This will bring you to the “Overview product specifications” list
2. For the specification which you want to restore you click on: “Recover from archive”.
